Language Tables

The Oldenborg Center at Pomona College welcomes you to join its language tables. Converse in world languages at tables mentored by native and advanced speakers. Language Tables are held each day classes are in session, Monday - Friday from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, starting in the second week of each semester. Language Tables are hosted in the Blue Room at Frank Dining Hall. Participants should proceed to the Oldenborg entrance of Frank Dining Hall, located a few steps east of the main entrance. 

Fall 2026

Language tables will start on Tuesday, September 8 and will continue throughout the semester each day that classes are in session. The last day of language tables will be Wednesday, December 9. Check our website periodically as we add more languages throughout the semester.

Beginner days are available for Chinese, Japanese, German, Russian, Spanish, and French every Wednesday. We have extra support on these days for those language learners who are just getting started.
