Welcome to the Pomona College Class of 2030! We congratulate you on your accomplishments and stand amazed at how much talent, engagement, creativity, and thoughtfulness is embodied in the class.
As you explore this admitted student page, you'll find plenty of opportunities to connect, both in-person and virtually, with current students, staff, and your incredible fellow admitted peers.
We warmly invite you to register to visit campus any day your schedule allows. Admitted Students Day (ASD) will be on April 13, 2026 and is an opportunity for you to connect with the Pomona College community. Those who cannot come to campus are encouraged to meet us virtually, where we will be hosting weekly webinars—both for parents/guardians/families and for students.
Registration for ASD and virtual programs will be available here by Friday, March 20, 2026. Keep an eye on your email!
Virtual Programs

Admitted students and parents/guardians/families are invited to join for a few minutes or the entire session. Your questions are welcomed!
Admitted Student Webinars
Welcome to Pomona: A Celebration of Your Student!
Come meet your admissions officer, new classmates, and current Pomona students who can share more about their experiences and answer your questions. They'll be hosting conversations about academics, athletics, first-generation/low income resources and support, transitioning to Pomona, and more. But most of all, we're celebrating YOU.
Financial Aid 101: Our Commitment to Need-Based Financial Aid
Financial aid likely plays a significant role in your college choice, and many questions may come up as you are making your final decision of where to enroll. Whether you're a student navigating the process or a parent seeking clarity, this financial aid session is designed to provide insights into the financial aid process, including important updates about FAFSA.
Inside of the Classroom: The Pomona Academic Experience & Support
What's the academic experience like at Pomona? Join us for an overview of the liberal arts experience, in addition to academic support and resources at the college. As a small liberal arts college, you'll also learn about what student-faculty mentorship and advising looks like at Pomona.
Outside of the Classroom: Research, Internships, Study Away & Community Service
Most Pomona students do research with faculty and experience more than one internship during their college years. How do they access these opportunities? Is there funding for unpaid internships? (Short answer: yes!) Hear more about research, internships opportunities with staff members from the Career Development Office (CDO), and learn more about how Pomona students leverage their resources after graduation to reach their goals.

Admitted Students Day Frequently Asked Questions
What time should I get there?
While ASD doesn't officially kick off until 8:30 A.M., check-in will open as early as 7:45 A.M. Any time in the space is fine, but if you're running late, no worries! Just come directly to our Information Tent at Smith Campus Center (look for the giant Cecil - yes, you read that right).
What should I bring?
We will provide a schedule, maps, a drawstring bag and food throughout the day, so we recommend bringing a smartphone for check-in and a reusable water bottle to refill throughout the day. Oh, and sunscreen!
Will Pomona provide accommodations?
On-campus accommodation is not available, so we encourage you to make alternate arrangements as soon as possible.
Can I bring more than two guests?
While extra guests are welcome to explore beautiful Claremont and the seven campuses, we are not able to accommodate more than two guests for ASD-specific meals and programming.
What else can I do in the area?
Just a short walk away from campus is the Village, which has a five-screen movie theater and more than 150 shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants that offer everything from Italian and Thai food to hamburgers and vegan fare. Additionally, the California Botanic Garden is just north of Foothill Blvd.
Los Angeles is just 35 miles to the west, and within 50 miles of the campus lies all that Southern California has to offer—from academic and cultural centers, theme parks and attractions to the desert, mountains and beaches.
Who should I go to with questions?
Please reach out directly to admissions@pomona.edu with any questions.
