Too Many Cooks in the Stewdio
On View at the Chan Gallery from March 23 - April 17, 2026
Reception for the exhibition and open studios throughout Studio Art Hall will be on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 5 - 7 p.m.
Too Many Cooks in the Stewdio is a playful expansion of our annual kitchen sink show, which highlights the works of students across the 5C’s made in the Pomona College Art Department’s various courses. In the past, the show was mainly inside of the Chan Gallery but this year, artwork has taken over a plethora of the Studio Art Hall’s rooms, transforming them into student galleries. Be sure to catch the opening reception of our junior show with works by Julia Blakely and Juna Hume Clark, which’ll also be part of the programming.
This exhibition and open studio event encourages the 5C community to learn more about the Art department and its amazing facilities and see what high jinks and shenanigans we get into over here.
Join us for food and drink, music, and lots of student artwork! Open studios are one night only but the exhibition in the Chan Gallery and the Gray Space 206 will be open through April 17! You don’t want to miss it!
