Title IX & CARES Programs and Services

The CARES office takes an intersectional approach in collaborating with partners on campus and community-based organizations to provide a wide range of resources for support, reporting, response as well as prevention and education to Pomona College students, faculty and staff.

Any person who experiences sexual harassment and discrimination, partner violence, sexual assault and/or stalking has several options for disclosure and/or reporting. A variety of reporting options are available to Pomona College students, faculty and staff. Learn more.


The CARES office will work closely with reporting parties to facilitate the response process. The response can include interim measures, safety planning, accommodations as well as support measure to ensure the students’ safety and wellbeing. Prevention and Education

The CARES office provides comprehensive, prevention and education programs that are tailored to the College’s community and concerns. The office strives to provide comprehensive prevention programming early and in an ongoing manner so that the education is integrated into the life and culture of the College.
