2022 Annual Fire Safety and Security Report (AFSSR)

Dear Pomona College Community:

This year, Associate Dean, Title IX Coordinator and Clery Officer, Erica M. Taylor, prepared the Annual Fire Safety and Security Report (AFSSR) to comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security and Crime Statistics Act using information maintained by Campus Safety, information provided by the Division of Student Affairs, Campus Safety, Facilities and Maintenance, the Title IX Office, and Campus Security Authorities (CSAs), and information provided by local law enforcement. Each of these offices also provides updated policy information and crime data.

This report provides statistics for the previous three calendar years (2019, 2020 and 2021) concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, and in certain off-campus buildings or property owned, leased or controlled by Pomona College. This report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies regarding sexual assault, alcohol and other drugs, crime reporting procedures, emergency response and evacuation procedures and crime prevention tips.

Pomona College is required to distribute a notice of the availability of this Annual Fire Safety and Security Report (AFSSR) by October 1 of each year to every member of the College community.

Prospective students and employees may also view the document at the link above or on the Admissions website or Human Resources website.

All 2021 7C Annual Security and Fire Safety Reports can be found in the Clery section of the Campus Safety website.

Pomona College will provide a paper copy of the Annual Security Report upon request.

Please email erica.taylor@pomona.edu if you wish to obtain a paper copy of the report.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Respectfully,

Erica Moorer Taylor (she/her)
Associate Dean, Title IX Coordinator & Clery Officer
