Mentor PAYS Scholars This Summer
The Pomona College Academy for Youth Success (PAYS) is a college access program for high school students with a 4-week academically intensive, residential component during the summer. Students come from our surrounding communities and from populations traditionally underrepresented in college – first generation college-going, low income, and/or African-American, Latinx, Native American, Pacific Islander, Southeast Asian or other groups.
If you are a Pomona College student and/or a PAYS Alum and are interested in serving as a Teaching Assistant, Math Tutor, Writing Tutor, or Community Advisor in this very unique program, please read the position descriptions below and complete the online application.
Selection Process
All NEW applicants MUST attend an informational meeting at the Draper Center. Dates are available; times will be announced in the upcoming weeks. Check back periodically for any updates.
