Commencement Weekend consists of a number of events to recognize the accomplishments of our graduating class. Starting Friday, May 16, graduates and their families and guests can join in celebration with faculty and staff in a range of activities, culminating in the Commencement Exercises on Sunday, May 18.

3:30 p.m., Baccalaureate Service of The Claremont Colleges
This interfaith program is hosted by the The Chaplains Office for graduates of both the undergraduate and graduate schools of The Claremont Colleges.
5 p.m., Phi Beta Kappa Induction
Lyman Hall, Thatcher Music Building, Pomona College
The Pomona College Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, established in 1914, was the third (or, "Gamma") chapter established in California. Seniors and juniors "who are of good moral character, and who are distinguished for breadth of culture and excellence of scholarship" may be elected to membership in the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
Students who will be installed into chapter are notified just prior to spring break.

Many of Pomona College's academic departments hold receptions in celebration of their graduates' achievements. The full schedule can be found here.
2:30 p.m., Mandatory Commencement Rehearsal for Graduates
Fourth Street Pedestrian Walkway
This rehearsal is mandatory for all graduates who will participate in the Commencement Ceremony. Graduates should assemble on the walkway in front of Bridges Hall of Music.
3:30 p.m., Class Picture and Senior Parade
This annual tradition reverses the route of Sagehens "Through the Gates" during new student orientation at the start of each Pomona College student's on-campus experience. The senior parade ends at the Class Day Reception, where families, guests and staff are waiting to celebrate.
4 - 6 p.m., Class Day Reception
NEW THIS YEAR: Class Day Reception
Graduates and their families and guests are invited to a community reception from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. on Marston Quad. This complimentary event is open to graduates, families, guests, faculty and staff and offers a casual opportunity to share stories, laughs and memories over light dinner and refreshments.
No RSVP or tickets are required. Seating will be limited to allow space to mingle and celebrate the Class of 2025.

8 - 9 p.m., Glee Club Concert, Bridges Hall of Music
8 - 10 p.m., Senior Art Exhibition, Studio Art Hall, Chan Gallery

8 a.m. Commencement Guest Seating Opens
Guests are welcome to take their seats for Commencement in Marston Quadrangle. Commencement seating is unassigned. Please plan accordingly to sit with your party.
9:30 a.m. Student & Faculty Lineup
Students & Faculty will line up on the Fourth Street Pedestrian Walkway in readiness for Commencement.
10 a.m. Class of 2025 Commencement
Commencement will take place outdoors on Marston Quadrangle from 10 a.m. until approximately 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. Water and coffee stations will be available, but guests should plan dress and sun protection according to weather. The ceremony will also be livestreamed here.
12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Light Dessert Reception
Following Commencement, a light dessert reception will be held on Marston Quadrangle for graduates, families, guests, faculty and staff.
