Three Things - 5.24.23

Dear Sagehens,

As your high school experience winds down with graduation, prom, and other senior year celebrations, make sure to take the time to enjoy it all. We are thrilled for you to join us this fall in the next step of your academic career.

Here are this week’s Three Things:

· As a new student, you will take a critical inquiry seminar – also known as ID1 . Get familiar with the course topics and submit your top ten preferences by July 7. You’ll find out your assigned section in August. Read more about previous ID1 classes.

· Sagehen Pride - Let’s give a shout out to our NCAA Division III champions: Angie Zhou ’25 who won the women’s tennis singles title and our women’s water polo team who earned back-to-back championships defeating our consortium rivals, CMS (Claremont Mudd Scripps).

· Fit check! If you are searching for Pomona gear, check out the Coop Store website. (All revenue goes to the Associated Students of Pomona College, Pomona’s student senate.)

Have you missed any of the previous Three Things? Head to the archive page. If you have questions, email orientation@pomona.edu.

You can also review the Orientation website. Please note that beginning on May 31 the Three Things emails will only go to your Pomona email account.

Respectfully,

Josh Eisenberg, dean of campus life

Anne Dwyer, associate dean of the college
