Welcome, New Students!
New Student Orientation is a week-long program designed to help new students settle-in and begin to explore their academic passions at Pomona College.
Orientation begins with Move-In Day when new students can move in, meet their sponsor groups, and families can attend information sessions. The next day, for students only, is for placement exams and information sessions, while Monday through Thursday, students leave campus for their exciting Orientation Adventure. Upon returning from Orientation Adventure, students will continue to explore their academic passions, will learn about academic life at Pomona, will work closely with their liberal arts advisors, enroll in courses, as well enjoy social and community-building activities.
