Online Modules

Welcome, new students! As part of our shared values, all incoming students are required to complete two online modules before arriving to campus. These modules are both housed on the Vector Solutions platform. Should you experience problems with Vector Solutions, technical support is available 24/7 and can be accessed from the "Help" link within the course or by visiting the Vector Solutions Knowledge Base

For more information about either AlcoholEdu or Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates (SAPU), please refer to additional content below.

Online Modules

AlcoholEdu

You should have received an invitation to start AlcoholEdu for college students from Vector LMS on Wednesday, June 28. This module is required and must be completed by August 4, 2023.

The module will ask you, anonymously, about your own alcohol and drug use and share scenarios on how to assist friends who are dealing with alcohol and other drugs.

Please contact the Pomona College alcohol and drug counselor, Jasa Cocke, if you have questions about the training.

Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates (SAPU)

The course will launch on Wednesday, July 12th and is due Monday, August 7th.

Hello Class of 2027!

The Title IX & CARES Office welcomes you to Pomona College! We strive to cultivate a just, caring community that centers on respecting others by ending all forms of discrimination, specifically based on sex, sexuality, gender, and gender identity and/or expression. To help foster this community, all incoming students must complete an online sexual assault prevention training by August 7, 2023. This module shares tools for building healthy relationships, how to recognize and respond to sexual violence, and available resources. Note that the course includes three surveys that measure students’ attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are strictly confidential; the school will only receive information about the student body as whole and will never see individual students’ answers.

Please note:

  • Students can login beginning Wednesday, July 12th to Vector Solutions.
  • Students must complete the course with a passing grade of 85% or better to received credit.
  • You will receive reminders to complete this online module until it is completed.
  • The Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates is a mandatory module for all new students at Pomona College.
  • Students will need to have this training completed to obtain their housing key on move-in day (August 19th).
