Three Things - 7.30.25

Dear Sagehens,

Friday is August, which means it’s move-in month! So please make sure you go through the To Do and complete everything you need – especially uploading medical records. You cannot move into your residential space until you have completed those designated items on the list.

This week’s “things”:

· If you haven’t started yet, now’s the time to read They Can’t Kill Us, Until They Kill Us, which you should have received in the mail (or digitally if you are an international student). This week, meet your fellow first-years at a fun book-club-style conversation led by current students from the CSWIM, Pomona’s writing center. There is a discussion scheduled for Friday, August 1 at 11:00 a.m. PDT and more to follow.

· Interested in joining the Pomona College Choir or other performing groups through the music department? We’ve added that information to the orientation schedule.

· Here is a link to the Registrar Welcome Packet, which you were also emailed separately. This folder includes a collection of PDFs intended to help you navigate the registration process and navigating general education requirements. You should refer to them as useful resources during your time at Pomona.

As always, check the archive for information you may have missed, and if you did not attend any part of online orientation, you can access recordings here.

Respectfully,

Josh Eisenberg, dean of campus life

Pierangelo De Pace, associate dean of the College
