Mentor PAYS Scholars This Summer
The Pomona College Academy for Youth Success (PAYS) is a college access program for high school students with a 4-week academically intensive, residential component during the summer. Students come from our surrounding communities and from populations traditionally underrepresented in college.
Every summer, PAYS Staff serve as Teaching Assistants (TA), Community Advisors (CA), or Tutors (Math or Writing) to our PAYS Scholars. PAYS Staff provide the supervision, mentorship, advising, and community activities needed to provide a brave, engaged and collaborative environment conducive to an academically rigorous and enriching pre-college experience.
