Events
In addition to all the great events available to us throughout reunion weekend, the ‘05 Reunion Committee wanted to plan a special get-together for the class of 2005, so that we can be sure to connect before the weekend gets away from us! On Friday, May 2, 4:00-5:00 p.m. in Doms Lounge, we will have light bites and beverages for our class (and families). Please be sure to join us!
Saturday, May 3 at 9 a.m.: Women's health physician, journalist, and award-winning memoirist Christine Henneberg '05 will discuss her writing and clinical work as an abortion provider, and introduce her debut novel, I Trust Her Completely at an Alumni Authors' Panel. Also featuring these Pomona authors: Lian Dolan, Soma Mei Frazier, and Ginny Kubitz Moyer.
Saturday, May 3 10-11 a.m.: Red Yarn, aka Andy Furgeson ’05 is a Texas-born, Oregon-based family performer who weaves music and puppetry into high-energy shows for all ages. In this special Alumni Weekend performance for Sagehen families, Red Yarn & his lovable critter puppets will have audiences singing, dancing, stomping, clapping, and celebrating the multicultural musical heritage of the USA. Recommended for children ages 0-8 and their families.
We also want to mention our Reunion Class Gift progress. Every gift is meaningful and shows your support of our alma mater— so thank you if you have contributed! Please note that if you pledge a gift for one or more years, the entire amount will count toward our Reunion Class Gift to Pomona. And if your company matches gifts— this also counts!
We can’t wait to see you!
