  • If interested in getting experience at a hospital, ask if there is a volunteer coordinator
  • Veterinary schools typically requires 200 or more hours of veterinary experience
  • Physician assistant programs require an average of 500-1000 hours of direct patient exposure

Co-Curricular Activities

  • Get involved in internships through the Career Development Office and explore the Draper Center for Community Partnerships opportunities
  • Get involved in on-campus activities relating to healthcare, such as the Red Cross Club and the Pre-Health Liaisons
