It is a shorter week here at Pomona College as we will be closed on Thursday, July 3, beginning at 1:00 p.m. PDT and all day on Friday, July 4, in honor of U.S. Independence Day. But we still have Three Things for you all!
- First, the ID1 preference form is due next Monday, July 7. Please fill it out as soon as possible.
- All incoming students must be up to date on their vaccinations and have a medical physical completed in order to receive their room key in August. Find the instructions on uploading documents here. Please note: You will need to provide vaccination records, medical screenings, and receive a physical examination from a licensed physician. Upload everything here. Records are due July 15.
- This week, look out for a copy of your orientation book, They Can’t Kill Us Until They Kill Us, in the mail. Now is the time to start reading! In a few weeks, current student Zoe, Nadia and Hlib will be hosting a series of casual online book club-style discussions. Learn more about the book at the Orientation Book web page, and follow the Center for Speaking, Writing, and the Image on Instagram (@cswimstagram).
And, as always, you can check your To Do list or the Three Things Archive if you need to finish items.
Respectfully,
Josh Eisenberg, dean of campus life
