Dear Sagehens,
There are less than two weeks until Orientation begins! This is the second-to-last Three Things email (you can see all of dating back to May in the archive) as we prepare you for your arrival at Pomona.
Here are this week’s Three Things:
· All Pomona College students are required to have U.S. health insurance before coming to campus. Students are automatically enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Program (SHIP), a partnership with Aetna. Students who have different insurance coverage can visit the SHIP Waiver portal to receive a waiver. The waiver deadline is September 13.
· The full 2025 Orientation schedule is on Engage. You will also need to download the Corq app and log in as you have for Engage. However, make sure you choose “The Claremont Colleges” in the app.
· Also a reminder of what you need to complete before you receive your key on move-in day:
o Medical documentation. You were contacted if you are missing items. They need to be submitted AND approved before you move into your room.
o The sexual assault prevention and alcohol education modules from Catharsis are due August 6. If you did not receive a link for these modules and need assistance, please email Cynthia.Flores@pomona.edu for the U GOT THIS! module and Jasa.Cocke@pomona.edu for the Binge Thinking module.
o Complete the online orientation sessions on Canvas if you did not attend when they were live.
Enjoy the rest of your week, and you’ll hear from us one last time next Wednesday. If you have missed any of the previous emails, you can catch up with the Three Things archive.
Respectfully,
