Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Dean of Students office has emergency grants funds available to students with immediate or emergency need of financial support. Most requests are met at $300 or less with a maximum request amount of $500. The Dean may also consider other request amounts on a case by case basis.
Student requests for general emergency funding from the Dean of Students Office can include academic-related expenses as well as many kinds of non-academic related needs, including:
- General emergency or urgent need (e.g., academic, family, travel)
- Health related
- Immigration related (e.g., legal fees, immigration petition fees)
- Post-Graduation needs (e.g., job or graduation school related)
