We’re excited to announce that the Accessibility Resources and Services (ARS) office is transitioning from Kurzweil to Speechify as our new text-to-speech platform for enhanced learning accessibility and productivity.
Why the switch? Speechify offers a more intuitive, flexible, and powerful reading experience across multiple devices. Whether you're studying for a test, reviewing class materials, or reading for fun, Speechify is designed to make reading easier and more efficient.

Please remember that although all Pomona College students have access to Speechify, only a small group of students registered with ARS are eligible for alternate media accommodations. Only students eligible for alternate media accommodations may receive their textbooks converted to e-text format through the SDRC. Sharing e-files created by Alternate Media Services with other students is strictly prohibited, and may be reported to the Dean of Students Office.
