Speechify Instructions

We’re excited to announce that the Accessibility Resources and Services (ARS) office is transitioning from Kurzweil to Speechify as our new text-to-speech platform for enhanced learning accessibility and productivity.

Why the switch? Speechify offers a more intuitive, flexible, and powerful reading experience across multiple devices. Whether you're studying for a test, reviewing class materials, or reading for fun, Speechify is designed to make reading easier and more efficient.

Key Features of Speechify:

  • Read anywhere – access on your phone, tablet, or desktop
  • Scan physical books or PDFs with your phone
  • Adjustable reading speed to suit your preferences
  • Note-taking and highlighting tools
  • Sync across devices so you never lose your place
  • Works with Google Docs, websites, PDFs, and more
