- Collect Your Parents’ and Your 2016 Income Tax Documents or Non-Filing Statements
- The information from these documents will help you to complete the CSS Profile
- Signed 2016 income tax returns translated into English, including all wage statements and schedules for parent(s), student, and businesses
- Statement of Non-filing Tax Status, if the student and/or parent(s) did not and are not required to file income taxes for 2016
- Complete the CSS Profile

- Upload 2016 Tax Documents or Non-Filing Statements to IDOC
IDOC access granted after completing the CSS Profile

- Submit Noncustodial Parent Materials

- For students whose parents are divorced/separated/living apart/never married, have your Noncustodial Parent submit a CSS Profile to account for their income and assets
- Upload copies of their translated 2016 income tax returns/Statement of Non-filing Tax Status to IDOC
- These materials are not required if your Noncustodial Parent information has been waived in prior years
International students admitted without applying for financial aid are not eligible to apply for financial aid in subsequent years. Application materials are available to download from the Office of Financial Aid's website.
